Vintage Typewriter Table Redo-- Just My Type!!

I use to type 60 words per minute!
                           Sound familiar to anyone!

This is a typewriter table so why
                            not stencil letters and numbers?

This table sold so quickly
I really did not get to
take the pictures I wanted!

Below is the only Before I have
it was actually used in our home
at one time.
see it?
Yes, we had a slot machine on that
typing table in our home, when we lived
in Idaho!
My granddaughter actually got all
777's and the darn machine would not
stop ringing and the lights were flashing
on top!
There was not enough money to pay her
off??  And at 6 years old she was waiting
for the coins with bucket in hand!!

There was no slot mechanic in site??
We unplugged the machine, but as soon
as we plugged it in, all the bells rang and lights
flashed!  Days later my husband did figured it out
and the play is on!

WORKING ON iT!   Yes this is in progress, and yes I was working
in the house, too cold in the garage!  No one home so I did it all inside :)
First attempt, I painted the top, not a good idea with semi-gloss
maroon, this would not wear well, chips off to easy.
So I scraped it off sanded and painted it with flat white!

Thanks for looking, wished I would have kept this one!

I have one of these...I use it almost daily! I pull it up next to me when I'm painting and have my paints and tray on it. I know what u mean about just getting used to one thing and then switching. I hate that...

I have one sitting in my garage waiting for me to get some great inspiration. I love the letters/numbers you did. Look so cool. Love the metal base colors too. Congrats on selling it so quickly. Thanks for sharing your creative inspiration at Sunday's Best.

So glad you stopped by so I could find you! I love all your redos but especially this typewriter table!!

I have one I found at an estate sale for $5 and it's a great little side table in my sunroom. I may have to do this to it - I love it and am pinning this!
