White Shabby Chic Desks Redo

                                      White was calling on these desk!
I did a Distressed white
on this desk

added a wooden applique

knobs were done in a hammered
copper


cleaned and polished the inside
and painted the desk top


WHITE AND READY!

 and now for the
BEFORE






I love to do colors, nothing better than a color statement in a room, but white is where it started for me and I still love doing furniture pieces in white tones.  I really had a calling from these two desk, "Please do me in White and give me a new Home!"


This one was done in white with walnut stain on
drawer fronts and grey hammered paint for knobs

I was scratched and missing
some of my button plugs, and had ugly
drawer liners :{


click button plugs  I did an earlier post on
these button plugs, great for saving
an old piece of furniture!  I hope it helps!


Of course, I had to change this contact paper
and some spots were hard to get it off  :(
