Real Daisy flowers, artificial Easter flowers with eggs, and the frames I painted and distressed.
Kitty Sheba sits here, it was worth a picture!
It is nice and warm and she is the center of attention!
Do you remember these?
My Grandmother made these from Xmas Cards, these baskets were popular in the 60's and 70's. This Grandmother decided to do one with Easter cards.
Make sure and pair up your cards and tap your holes so they line up for sewing. I put a little stick glue in the middle of cards
to hold in place and very small scotch tape on top and bottom
of tracing paper.
To make it easier for your yarn, use your yarn needle and completely go through the hole.
Finish and I added from one of the cards an Easter Greeting in egg shape, just stick glued on. Now, Grandma did not do that, or use Easter Cards!
I put a plant inside, thinking, what am I going to put inside?
Easter grass of some type and of course Chocolate would do!
Now on to the Scrapy, Decoupage, Quilted Easter Eggs
I have a lot of fabric scraps from quilting and sewing, This little box is nothing, I don't throw away anything!
In the sewing room going through my drawers of stuff, it came to me to do Easter Eggs with scraps?
