Thanksgiving Greeting

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!

i Hope everyone has the best Thanksgiving.  Enjoy
Family and  Friends!

I love the above Vintage image, and it is from my collection,
I do not have any information on this great postcard, or a source
to give credit.  This is a busy time for all, and as I return from
my daughter's for Thanksgiving I will try to stay off Pinterest
long enough to get all my awaiting posting on the blog!
Best, Marilyn

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Just wanted to wish those celebrating St. Patrick's Day to have
a wee bit of luck and happiness!

I just love this vintage postcard, so sweet!

Also I wanted to share my Patty Day saying I put on my chalk board in the dining room!  It is for all of you!
Having a chalk board is great and I know so many of you have worked with the chalk board paint, if you have not, you must try it, it is addicting!

Now I will leave you with a picture of the shamrock, which is really a 3 leaf clover, many do a 4 leaf, which  is hard to find.
If you do, that means luck!

Wishing you Health and Happiness For 2012!

Hello Everyone, I hope your Holidays were Grand!

Mine was Wonderful, we flew to New Orleans to have the Thanksgiving with our Daughter, Son-in-law, and 3 Grandkids!  They are in Ocean Springs, Mississippi where my Son-in-law is in the Air Force.  What a way to spend Thanksgiving, and I was very thankful!  I loved the South.  One day, my daughter and I took in Antique Stores and Thrift Shops  Of course I came home with some goodies, even had to carry some in a bag on the plane!  We drove through Louisiana , Georgia, Alabama, and even to Pensicola, Florida!  Beautiful beach! I had Grits, Collard greens, Craw fish and famous Beignets in New Orleans just to mention a few!

We had a Merry Christmas with our other Daughter, Son-in-law, and 2 Grandkids, it sure is nice to have the little ones around for Xmas, that is what it is all about, Family!   I must say I did not get to Post or Blog much this Holiday Season, busier than usual, and a lot going on, but I am back now and have a lot to post.  I had a very good December on the Shabby Chic Furniture sales, not a dresser left!!  I have plenty to share and post and now that all the Christmas Decor is packed away, back to Shabby painting and blogging!

I wish all of you Health and Happiness for 2012!  May this be your best year ever!
