Vintage Brass Tin Plate Redo

Do you remember these Brass/Tin Plates?

You see them at Thrift stores all the time!
I kept seeing them and remembered these from
long ago when I was growing up!  Grandmother and all her friends had them!  Aging myself, oh well, I love the patina and fruit design on these old things.  Something different and full of memories for me.

So I had to buy it and do something!!!
Perfect little hanger on the back, so easy!
A little white paint brushed on, worked for me,
I love bringing something back with a redo, they come in
different sizes and designs.  I don't know what the true name
is, so I call them Brass/Tin plates?

I am posting this from Biloxi, Mississippi, I have been away
from Nevada (home) for several weeks, oldest Granddaughter's
High School Graduation and helping my Daughter and the grandchildren (3)!!!  Her Husband was deployed to Afghanistan.  Bless all the Service Men and Women!

So Great for me, being with far away family that you love and miss so much!  Just wanted to share and also to get a posting up!!!  I have so many to do YET!
Take Care
Sharing at these great linky parties!

What a great weekend! I hope you have a great time with your family and your plate looks lovely dolled up in white.

You're right, I see them in thrift stores all the time, Marilyn. And I pass them right by - 'cause I really don't care for shiny brass. But after seeing your makeovers, I'll reconsider the next ones I see. ;)

Thanks for linking to Time Travel Thursday. Be sure to stop in and see the announcement, this Thursday, of my latest giveaway.

Blessings,
